    Those of us in the New Atheist camp have been trumpeting from the rooftops to anyone who will listen that our goal is to replace all supernaturalist religions with science.

    And, of course we intend it to be “one world”!

    Dear boy, surely everyone knows this who knows anything about us New Atheists at all.

    We can quibble over whether the new universal scientific belief system should be called a “religion”: many people take “religion” to include a supernaturalist element. But that would just be quibbling over words.

    Surely, everyone already knows what you are promising to reveal!

    As I have been saying for years, the Kingdom of God is dying; the Day of Humanity is dawning.

    Yes, death to religion. Science must rule in its place.

    I think you are getting it, Mariano.

    Maybe Erika is right and you are close to switching sides, leaving the darkness of Christianity, and moving out into the bright and comforting daylight of atheistic science, eh, Mariano?

    Sam Harris's statement is shocking, and it reveals the depth of his rebellion against God. I have found that atheists tend to be angry. They are angry when they are forced to see any reminder of the God they want to go away. Many also try to separate themselves by saying that they don't share a "belief system" but a lack of "belief system". Yet they evangelism this lack of belief system with all who will listen.

    Seventy years of brutal atheist totalitarianism in the USSR tried failed to stamp out religion, sixty plus years of atheist totalitarianism in China is trying and failing to stamp out religion.

    Why do you think that a bunch of self-important,pompous and painfully illogical, high profile "New Atheists" whose miscomprehension of the human spirit will be capable of eliciting anything more than a eye-roll from the religious?
